Build browsers with a team that works close to the engine
We build and maintain custom Chromium and Firefox browsers, browser extensions and desktop apps for clients. If you like engine-level work and clean handoffs, we would like to hear from you.
The work
Where you would work
Client projects fall into four areas. Most people specialise in one and work across others when a project needs it.
Browser engineering
C++ and Rust changes to Chromium and Firefox, kept as small patches and rebased onto new upstream releases.
Extensions and web
Manifest V3 extensions in TypeScript for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave and Safari, and the web interfaces around them.
Desktop apps
Electron and Tauri applications for Windows, macOS and Linux, including installers, updates and native integration.
Testing and security
Cross-platform testing, extension audits and checking that browser changes behave the same on every release.
How we work
What the work looks like
Small, reviewable changes
Engine work is delivered as patches that can be read, tested and rebased, not as one large drop of code.
Tested releases
Builds are checked on the platforms our clients target before they are handed over.
Real products
The work ships as browsers, extensions and desktop apps that people use, and it is kept current afterwards.

Do not see your role?
If your work fits one of the areas above, send your details anyway. We keep them on file for when a project needs someone.
